Appointment experience
- Only patients allowed in the treatment area, guests accompanying patients must wait in the car
- Communicate concerns via our Live Chat portal or Virtual Assessment Portal
- Scheduling will be done via phone as much as possible
- The lobby will be closed, we ask that guests accompanying patients wait in their car
- Use of digital communication instead of hard copies
- We request patients wear their own mask or mouth covering to limit infection transmission
- Every patient will be sent a health history update form to identify patients that may have been exposed to COVID. In addition, a separate consent form will be sent
Safety measures
- Temperature taken on anyone entering the building (staff and patients). Individuals with fever not granted entry
- Additional personal protection equipment (PPE) to protect spread of infection between patients and staff
- Additional barriers placed on high touch surfaces in treatment area
- Air purifiers have been placed in all treatment areas with HEPA filters
- Doors in the office propped open to limit handle touch
- Discontinued access to beverage station
- Discontinued access to video game station
- Discontinued access to tooth brush station
- Additional COVID specific OSHA training for staff
- Hourly disinfecting of office
- Treatment chairs spaced no less than 6 feet apart
- Hand sanitizer is readily available to all patients and staff
